New publication “Joint knowledge production in climate change adaptation networks”

A new publication by members of Knowledge for Climate assessed how joint knowledge production (JKP) supports the development of solution-oriented knowledge in climate change adaptation networks. In the study published in Current Opinion in Environmental sustainability, Veruska Muccione and other network members presented a sketch of the adaptation networks landscape, and explored the processes of JKP in networks. They found that processes of JKP are complex and dependent on the interest of the actors and their level of deliberation. Last, the authors also convened some recommendations for a more effective process of JKP in networks, such as having signposts and intermediate products to keep actors’ interest and the process alive.
